Check independent nameservers, geography, published SLA, and incident history. Anycast alone is not a quality guarantee.
DNSSEC
Review key management, DS publication, migration, and emergency procedures. A broken chain can cause SERVFAIL.
API
Evaluate token scope, audit logs, idempotency, limits, and automation from official documentation.
Migration
Lower TTL ahead of time, copy the whole zone, compare old and new nameservers, then change delegation.
Before migrating a zone
- Export and compare A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, NS, CAA, and service records.
- Check every new authoritative nameserver.
- Do not remove the old zone before previous TTLs and delegation complete.
