Rules for verifying services, prices, limitations, and editorial ratings on DomainTools.
Unified scenario
Services are compared for the same task, zone, period, and date. A first-year promotion is not compared with the regular renewal of another service.
Sources and dates
A changeable value requires an official source and a verification date. If data is missing, the table shows "Not verified" or "Price requires verification" rather than an assumed value.
Editorial rating
Criterion weights are approved before viewing the result. An unknown value is not counted as a zero score. A rating is not published if data is insufficient for comparable conclusions.
Partnership
An affiliate link is marked and does not affect the score. A participant without an affiliate program can occupy any position under the same methodology.
Updates
Each comparison has a verification date and a next-review date. Outdated prices are hidden or given an explicit warning. For more on commercial links, see the affiliate disclosure.
