What counts as an affiliate link
Some links to registrars, hosting providers, and related services may earn the operator a commission. Such links are visually marked as affiliate and receive the attributes rel="sponsored nofollow noopener".
How this affects editorial content
Partnership is not proof of quality and does not determine placement in comparisons. Methodology, limitations, missing data, and the verification date are shown next to the offer. If the current price is not confirmed, the interface says «Price requires verification».
Clicks and analytics
To evaluate the usefulness of a block, an anonymized event type, placement, and offer identifier are recorded. DomainTools must not send the entered domain, WHOIS response, user IP, personal data, or query content to analytics.
User choice
Before paying, verify the final price, renewal, limitations, and contract on the official website. An affiliate link does not increase the reliability of the data.
